Our fabric braided lighting flex has a lovely smooth woven cotton textile outer wrapped over a modern double insulated cable, fully compliant with current electrical regulations. It combines the best aspects of traditional design with the safety of modern technology.

This cable comes in a huge variety of colours to suit all kinds of lighting and interior designs. The flexible fabric cord is suitable for ceiling pendant lamps, desk lamps and table lamps.

The cable is priced per metre and supplied in continuous unbroken lengths. If you order a quantity of 3 you will get a single 3m length, a quantity of 5 will be a single 5m length. Please note that longer lengths (10m+) may very occasionally have joins.

We supply three core cable, it's the same diameter and appearance as two core with the added flexibility of the earth core if needed. If you don't need the earth then simply cut it short and don't use it in the fitting. This ensures a future proof solution, if you find you need an earth in future if you change the fitting and saves you from finding out you have an unsuitable cable when your electrician comes to install your lighting. For twisted flex the earth core can simply be twisted off.
